Integrated Domestic and Family Violence Services (10 locations)

  • The Integrated Domestic and Family Violence Services Program provides coordinated services to clients through a multi-disciplinary team or are based on clear referral pathways between NSW government such as Police, Health, Family and Community Services and non-government support agencies.

Staying Home Leaving Violence (19 locations)

  • A support program available in many regions which assists people experiencing domestic and family violence to remain in their homes, supported by an AVO which excludes the abuser from residing there (exclusion order).

Women's Safety NSW

  • Women's Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Services assist women and children who are or have been experiencing domestic violence to obtain effective legal protection through applications for Apprehended Domestic Violence Orders (ADVOs);
  • The services help women to obtain legal protection from domestic violence and with other needs including accessing support services (for example financial assistance and advice, housing, counselling and family law issues);
  • They can't provide legal advice but they can refer women to solicitors.
  • In some areas they work with solicitors from the Legal Aid NSW Domestic Violence Practitioner Scheme.

The Sexual Assault Crisis Line Victoria (SACL) is a state-wide, after-hours, confidential, telephone crisis counselling service for victim/survivors of both past and recent sexual assault. SACL operates between 5pm weeknights through to 9am the next day and throughout weekends and public holidays.
